National Conference
The location varies each year to different States and Territories, but the general format and value of the Conference remains constant, being an essential event in the diary of serious industry practitioners.
The format involves networking opportunities, workshops, presentations from industry experts, exhibition of products and services for the industry, as well as social activities. The National Conference provides the environment for members to update their skills and consider industry best practices as well as forging strong links with colleagues throughout Australia for the ongoing exchange of work and ideas.

Seminars/Workshops
As issues emerge affecting the industry, the IMA responds to provide the opportunity for members to workshop and attend skill updates. These workshops include events on a national and state/territory basis. When the ACCC & ASIC issued its Guideline to Creditors and Collectors and amendments to the Federal Privacy Act were introduced, the IMA responded quickly with seminars and workshops for members.
